This is the dinghy dock at the Marina Riviera Nayarit where we park our dinghy to get ashore. You can see out the mouth of the channel in the background there are boats anchored.
We saw lots of interesting architecture, especially doors.
Dogs, cats, and chickens roam the streets as does a horse now and then, but they weren't the only critters we found in town.
The turtles are in the water fountain behind me along with the dog (the first half breed ridgeback I've seen since the two I had when Zak was a toddler). The fountain was at Tzikuri where they have free WiFi, great coffee, and a Huichol art gallery of brightly colored yarn paintings and bead work.
When we got back to the boat, we found a pelican had taken up residence on the bow pulpit. The eagle mask has since been discarded since it caught a great deal of the pelicans out put.
That is our first day of the new year. It only took me nearly three weeks to post. More later. Our love to you. D & P
